Inspired by an old black and white photo, Kelly reworked the background several
times before he was finally satisfied with this work. His objective? “To see for
ever in the vastness of Northern Western Australia.” This is another piece in this
series that works to celebrate and highlight the contribution of Australian
stockmen in rural Outback Australia.
