I have been going through my dear late Dads rock collection. The beryl is from a now abandoned emerald mine, we were allowed to fossick and I still have my emerald. We grew up with a natural curiosity of local geography, whist camping out in the bush. Even now you can find me looking around my feet for hidden gems.
