‘Breath of the North’
“This body of work was born from time spent journeying along the Gibb River road and into the remote wilderness of the Berkeley River. These trips became both an exploration and a quiet conversation with the landscape. Towering gorges, red rust escarpments and the ever shifting light became my guides, shaping not just what I saw, but how I felt.”

About The Artist
Bronwen Newbury has been painting professionally for nearly three decades, and has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions around Australia and New Zealand receiving many awards and accolades over the years. Her work is represented in numerous corporate and private collections within Australia and internationally.
She is known for her landscape paintings, particularly of the Australian outback from where she once lived, and her more recent colourful depictions of people and crowds enjoying our great Australian lifestyle.
