Vicki is an artist living in Mandurah Western Australia. Having started painting approximately 16 years ago, her inspiration as an artist started when she was a child watching her father draw. Not having started till later in her life after family commitments became less.
Vicki is an Award-winning Artist having Paintings in Corporate and Private Collections.
Inspiration for Vicki’s art as a landscape / seascape artist comes from the connection between structure and nature. Over the years of boating or holidays she has had traveling to places across Australia and Overseas.
We as Aussies are always leaving our footprints in some way across the land and sea, sometimes becoming part of, and embedded in the landscape. She strives to show the connection between nature and creation and the harmony sometimes left stamped by us and becoming as important in the landscape as the landscape itself.
Nature and creation often intertwine in unexpected ways.
Old navigational markers and the life that abounds the many disappearing styles that have a story to tell, important but passed by with a fleeting glance.
